Modelling the first humanoid creature

Well, soon or later I would have to start pulling my skills with humanoid characters, i already did the player model, but the character still looks unfinished. So to polish my skills I started with a big, fat creature, a bit stylized, since it has very long arms and a big body, i’m actually quite happy with the result.


Here there are final results of the rigged low poly model and the high poly model to get the normal map from.

It probably looks quite plain since he is naked but having applied the cartoon shader in unity the result boosts itself.


Next step is create more base meshes to model all kind of humanoids, and I will share them for free somewhere.
